As a family-owned business, American Packaging Corporation (APC) has been committed to earning its reputation as the first-choice provider of manufacturing and packaging services to customers across North America since 1902. Specializing in all kinds of printing—including flexographic, rotogravure and digital—as well as preformed bags and pouches, the company keeps evolving with the demands of its customers and the innovations of the packaging world.

To showcase its capabilities while proving to customers what was possible, the company turned to DS+CO. What they needed was help appealing to a creative audience, namely tradeshow attendees—including brand managers, print production managers, and packaging designers and engineers—looking for ways to make their products stand out. And we were ready for the challenge.

With complete creative freedom and all kinds of packaging to work with, our team explored textual, conceptual photography to bring these samples to life. We started by zeroing in on key growth verticals for APC, including food, pet products and health + wellness. Knowing that product reps (and customers, for that matter) are drawn to the details, we emphasized layers and colors of complexity that gave our work a lifelike quality and told a story in the process—all while demonstrating what makes APC a leader in its field.
