Dixon Schwabl’s PR team wins 6 PRISMs, including Best in Show; Courtney O’Gorman named 2021 Rising Star
The PRSA PRism Awards celebrate the “best of the best” public relations campaigns led by Rochester’s brightest publicists. Last night, PR professionals from across the Rochester area joined together for the first time in two years at beautiful Casa Larga Vineyards and virtually for the 31st annual PRism Awards ceremony.
The event recognizes complete PR programs and tactical elements that incorporate sound research, planning, execution and evaluation. And for Dixon Schwabl’s PR team, the results were amazing!
Dixon Schwabl took home six PRisms, three Awards of Excellence and Best in Show for “Black Businesses Matter: Free marketing workshop for Buffalo’s Black- and minority-owned small businesses” in the Community Relations Corporate category. This coveted award goes to the company with the highest ranking by the judges.
PR Manager Courtney O’Gorman took home this year’s Rising Star. The award is based on years in the industry, not on age, and recognizes a public relations professional with no more than seven years of experience in the field who demonstrates exceptional competence, skill and leadership potential.
Congratulations to all of this year’s PRSA PRism award winners! And thank you to the event organizers for a great in-person and virtual event. This event is one of our PR team’s favorite nights of the year.
