Kara Beamish named December Jaz Janie

Every month, Dixon Schwabl + Company honors an outstanding employee with the coveted Jaz Janie Award, created to commemorate Public Relations Vice President Jane “Janie” Argenta, who passed away in September 2009. Jane was a fun-loving, compassionate and hardworking professional who touched the lives of many.

The December Jaz Janie recipient is Media Coordinator Kara Beamish.

Kara demonstrates her strong respect for others and the organization daily. She is an individual who always does what’s asked of her and often jumps into her work with a proactive mindset. As a member of our IDEA team, Kara shares her passion and commitment to our DEI initiatives, helping advance our work for the greater good. And she’s serving our community further as an alumna of SUNY Geneseo by speaking at the fall marketing conference as a panelist on careers in marketing. More recently, Kara was invited by Dean Zuckerman to join the Geneseo School of Business Alumni Connection Council.

Kara, you are a true team player and furthering the tremendous work we do together, and we’re thrilled to celebrate you this month. You are so deserving of this Jaz Janie Award!
