Lauren and Mike Named October Jaz Janie

This month’s Jaz Janie is nominated by the entire agency. For the first time in their 33 years of owning Dixon Schwabl and after 10 years of sponsoring the impactful Jaz Janie award and not receiving it, it’s only fitting that Lauren Dixon and Mike Schwabl are named Jaz Janie Award winners for the month of October. This also marks the day they gently move toward the next phase of their careers and step into their new roles at Dixon Schwabl.

Lauren and Mike are the epitome of all that embodies Jaz Janie. There was no hustle like Jane’s hustle, except for the hustle and scrap of Lauren and Mike’s. Whether it’s collecting money at the Riesling Fest on a 90-degree day shoulder-to-shoulder with their team or leading a community through a successful United Way campaign, this business they’ve built is the embodiment of good old-fashioned hard work.

They lead by example, rarely shying away from an opportunity to help those in need in our community. Whether it’s leading a board, organizing the delivery of 30 Thanksgiving baskets to families in our community or heading up a capital campaign to improve the delivery of important community services, these two are always at the ready and provide us with the time and support to give back to organizations important to all of us.

And finally, FUN! If you knew Jane, you knew she was always down for a happy hour or a mid-day laugh sesh. You can’t find more fun leaders than Lauren and Mike—they’ll wear crazy costumes to announce a new business win to the agency, sponsor softball teams and invite you to CMAC to listen to a show.
