2 Experts Present to NYS School Board Association

Two Dixon Schwabl leaders presented to a group of nearly 200 school district leaders, employees and educators October 20 during the 12^th Annual New York State School Board Association’s Pre-Convention. The event is typically held in NYC, but was hosted virtually this year given the pandemic.

CEO Kim Allen and Managing Partner of Communications Nadine General discussed “Employee Communications During a Pandemic: Best Practices,” focused on crisis communications, how to improve employee morale and engagement, influencing attitudes and behavior, and more. There was a particular focus on communicating during emergencies, such as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion also included Superintendent of Mineola Public Schools and 2020 NYS Superintendent of the Year Michael Nagler.
