From enrolling in a full-time MBA program to going all in on a lifelong dream of becoming a professional musician, a few of our high-performing, much-loved team members are leaving the agency to pursue a passion. And it sure is bittersweet.

It’s a topic that’s on the mind of most business leaders these days as the pandemic has caused many people to rethink their careers.

The result is a serious labor shortage in certain industries — U.S. job openings are at a two-year high — which makes it a favorable market for job seekers. And in our region, we’re now competing with employers in markets with higher salary ranges who are open to a remote workforce. So what’s a great workplace to do?
