Mel Brand named November Jaz Janie

Today we celebrate our November Jaz Janie: Senior Brand Manager Mel Brand!

Recently Mel was asked to lead a brainstorming session for Q4’s all-agency meeting. Always one with a “can-do” attitude, she reached out to her teams to identify a problem that needed solving.

Mel’s thoughtful preparation resulted in a very successful breakout session. She effortlessly led a third of the entire agency in fun and engaging conversation that fostered both curious and courageous thinking.

Handling her charge with grace and a positive attitude is how Mel shows up every day, and it’s why she’s the perfect candidate for our November Jaz Janie.

Every month, Dixon Schwabl + Company honors an outstanding employee with the coveted Jaz Janie Award, created to commemorate Public Relations Vice President Jane “Janie” Argenta, who passed away in September 2009. Jane was a fun-loving, compassionate and hardworking professional who touched the lives of many.
