Chrissy Ortiz named July Jaz Janie

Every month, Dixon Schwabl + Company honors an outstanding employee with the coveted Jaz Janie Award, created to commemorate Public Relations Vice President Jane “Janie” Argenta, who passed away in September 2009. Jane was a fun-loving, compassionate and hardworking professional who touched the lives of many.

This month’s Jaz Janie winner is Associate Creative Director Chrissy Ortiz. After three years working at DS+CO, her outstanding contributions and remarkable character have continued to exemplify the spirit of Janie’s legacy. Humble, wise, creative, tenacious, hardworking, multitasking, positive and compassionate are just a few of the words that describe her character and what she brings to our team.

Her positive and passionate approach to her work is infectious, uplifting everyone around her. Her enthusiasm for collaboration sets a standard for teamwork, embodying Janie’s legacy.

Her craftsmanship and versatility shine through in everything she touches, offering unique perspectives that inspire not only us but also our clients. Her work on campaigns like CooperVision, St. John Fisher University, American Packaging Corporation and NY State Grown + Certified consistently raise the bar, delighting clients and setting new standards of excellence.
