Renee Sogard named April Jaz Janie

Every month, Dixon Schwabl + Company honors an outstanding employee with the coveted Jaz Janie Award, created to commemorate Public Relations Vice President Jane “Janie” Argenta, who passed away in September 2009. Jane was a fun-loving, compassionate and hardworking professional who touched the lives of many.

This month’s Jaz Janie winner is Project Manager Renee Sogard. Renee is always willing to jump in and offer support and guidance to any team members who need it, while also bringing her A game. Renee is focused, driven, detail-oriented and an absolute team player. She never fails to make the team laugh when things get too serious, but she also keeps everyone on time and on task, moving from project to project to project even when she needs to act as problem-solver. Even in the face of difficult situations, Renee manages to ensure work makes it to the finish line. She has also taken time out of her busy schedule to work with new team members and help mentor them as they find their way at DS+CO, which the entire team appreciates as it makes all the difference in continuing forward with the work.
