Mary dreams up and writes the kind of content customers love to binge. For the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, she wrote for music lovers, and for City Newspaper, she wrote for foodies. She’s also written content while in London. That’s where she converted to the High Church of Anglophilia and picked up her habit of drinking English breakfast tea (milk, no sugar). Apparently, English breakfast tea soothes most maladies, especially the imagined kind. When Mary doesn’t know what else to do, she makes a cuppa. Off the clock, she can be found hanging with Seymour, her 2-year old African pygmy hedgehog. This proud “hog-mom” doesn’t mind Seymour’s grumpy moods and loves catering to his hobbies: eating hard-boiled eggs and hiding inside empty cardboard oatmeal canisters. The only pen Mary will write with is a black Pilot G-2 with an extra-fine 0.38mm point. In a pinch, she’ll settle for the 0.5mm point. And if she can’t have either, well, she loves to blow off steam kickboxing or running.
