Kim loves big ideas. No matter where or who they come from. It’s one reason she loves it here. Kim was working on one of her first accounts, a manufacturer of safes (sorry, we can’t identify; rhymes with “gentry”). They were about to launch a new product at a major tradeshow in Las Vegas, just months after 9/11. A big idea sprang to mind. “I thought, let’s hold a firemen’s parade down the strip.” Excellent PR for the product and great way to honor first responders, right? But Kim was worried. At previous firms, something so bold would never have seen the light of day. “But when I brought it to Lauren, she said, ‘Let’s do it!’ I knew then this was the place for me.” As a kid, Kim wanted to be a performer when she grew up. And in a way, she is: “I love giving presentations.” No stage fright for her. You haven’t seen Kim give a presentation? Well, one more for the bucket list.
