Every month, Dixon Schwabl honors an outstanding employee with the coveted Jaz Janie Award. The award was created to commemorate Dixon Schwabl Public Relations Vice President Jane “Janie” Argenta, who passed away in September 2009. Jane was a fun-loving, compassionate and hardworking professional who touched the lives of many.
The February Jaz Janie recipient is Copy Editor Ted Wenskus.
Ted initially joined Dixon Schwabl as a freelancer earlier this year to cover the maternity leave of a team member. Jumping into the role of proofreader on the Frontier Communications account is no easy task with all of its tactics, technologies, price points, markets and rules; however, Ted immediately went to work to learn and in a very short time understood.
Now as our dedicated Frontier copy editor, Ted does an outstanding job making sure every rule is followed. He accommodates an often-changing schedule, always coming in with a casual saunter and a smile, and is never hurried, frustrated or worried. Ted provides the entire team confidence and assurance that the work will be done well and on time.
Thank you, Ted, for always making it happen like there’s nothing to it!
