Every month, Dixon Schwabl honors an outstanding employee with the coveted Jaz Janie Award. The award was created to commemorate Dixon Schwabl Public Relations Vice President Jane “Janie” Argenta, who passed away in September 2009. Jane was a fun-loving, compassionate and hardworking professional who touched the lives of many.
The October Jaz Janie recipient is Vice President of Account Services Shane Grant.
Shane’s work speaks for itself. She’s smart, intuitive, responsive, respectful, conscientious and fun. A creative team member’s dream, her briefs are timely and full of the dirt and details needed to develop targeted, strategic messaging. And talk about integrity and teamwork! When Shane says she’s going to do something, she does it. If something is not up to her standards, she’s fully accountable and owns it.
Personally, Shane is honest, open, gracious, fun and quick to give out kudos. Humble as pie, sweet as a peach, she is infectiously positive. Just try to frown around her! She’s the first to have community spirit and a “make a difference” attitude. From Heart Association fundraisers and baking contests to fitness challenges and sharing personal stories for inspiration, Shane makes each of us individually and collectivity better at Dixon Schwabl.
Shane makes our day—every day. That’s why we’re thrilled to honor her this month!
