Every month, Dixon Schwabl honors an outstanding employee with the coveted Jaz Janie Award. The award was created to commemorate Dixon Schwabl Public Relations Vice President Jane “Janie” Argenta, who passed away in September 2009. Jane was a fun-loving, compassionate and hardworking professional who touched the lives of many.
The December Jaz Janie recipient is Director of IT Randy Zajonczkoski.
Randy is truly one of a kind. No, seriously. He’s literally the only one who can provide the level of technical support all 108 of us need. Some days you’ll find him wrapped in a pile of cords at his desk and on others he’s climbing a ladder in the server room.
Wait! There’s a page and he’s off to the Incite Room to help someone adjust the volume on the TV.
What’s that? Someone’s computer is frozen and he’s off to find a loaner.
Ahhh, it’s finally the weekend and time for peace and quiet with his beautiful family. But alas there’s a text and there’s an emergency at the office.
Then there’s that darn NIST certification. Working day and night to ensure we meet the standards necessary to appropriately and safely manage our clients’ data.
Not a day that goes by that Randy’s not exhibiting the qualities of the woman this award embodies. Kind, can-do, capable and caring—Randy is all those things and more. That’s why we couldn’t be prouder to name him this month’s Jaz Janie!
