Nadine General has been named Dixon Schwabl’s managing partner of communications, effective October 1. In her new role, Nadine leads the agency’s 10-person public relations and social media team, which manages nearly $2 million annual revenue. She’s also responsible for the agency’s internal and external communications efforts and is Dixon Schwabl’s resident crisis communications leader. Nadine has been in the communications and public relations industry for more than 20 years.
A well-respected and sought-after star in the Communications and Public Relations field, she most recently served as vice president of agency nonprofit services. Before joining Dixon Schwabl in 2010, she served as assistant director of regional marketing and communications for the American Red Cross Greater Rochester Chapter.
Nadine earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from St. John Fisher College. She serves on the board of directors for PRSA Rochester and is the organization’s Diversity Committee co-chair. She’s earned more than a few awards and prestigious accolades, including Rochester Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 in 2017, the D&C’s Woman to Watch in 2015 and was inducted into the Jack Palvino Communication/Journalism Hall of Fame at St. John Fisher College in 2012.
