Every month, Dixon Schwabl honors an outstanding employee with the coveted Jaz Janie Award. The award was created to commemorate Dixon Schwabl Public Relations Vice President Jane“Janie” Argenta, who passed away in September 2009. Jane was a fun-loving, compassionate and hardworking professional who touched the lives of many.
Our November Jaz Janie recipient is Content Manager Mike McGinnis.
There aren’t enough words to describe the way Mike has gone way, way, way above and beyond to deliver an impressive—and impactful—community relations initiative called Black Businesses Matter. All with a Make it Happen attitude, the utmost attention to detail, true Mike style and a whole lot of workshop webinar fire.
Mike is the colleague who’s first to congratulate you, who always picks up the phone when you need him, and who’s front and center on the virtual dance floor! Today and always, Mike deserves the spotlight as the true star of the show, master of ceremonies, coordinator extraordinaire and all-around awesome teammate. He deserves this month’s Jaz Janie Award and center square in all the Zoom rooms.
Mike, thank you for your unwavering commitment and dedication to ensuring the Black Businesses Matter workshop series delivers for those who need it most. You’re most impressive to see in action, and we’re honored and in awe of how you’re managing this very important initiative with the utmost care and commitment. Congratulations and thank you, Mike!
