On Thursday, January 25, the Women’s Council held the 2018 Annual Athena Awards, honoring prominent women in the workplace and community. Dixon Schwabl earned two out of the three prestigious awards presented at the ceremony.
Managing Partner, Kim Allen was honored with the fourth annual Young Professional Athena Award. This distinction is awarded to outstanding women ages 30-45 who demonstrate leadership, an elite sense of creativity and a positive influence on the community. Kim was nominated by 2017 winner Melisza Campos for her passionate encouragement and support of emerging female leaders.
Dixon Schwabl was also recognized with the inaugural Athena Organizational Award. This honor is given to female-led or -owned businesses that inspire women to succeed in the workplace and community. Dixon Schwabl has grown with a strong team of women leaders and a culture that promotes a drive for female initiative. President Mike Schwabl accepted the award at the ceremony on behalf of Chief Executive Officer Lauren Dixon.
