Full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency Dixon Schwabl is pleased to announce the hire of Scott Ensign as vice president of digital media, Britton Lui as vice president of people and development, and Alexandra Hristodoulou as account coordinator.
In his new position, Ensign will lead a team of media buyers, planners and strategists to create and execute integrated media programs for Dixon Schwabl’s diversified clients. He will be responsible for continuing the rapid growth of the digital media practice and advanced analytics offering.
Ensign has 15 years of experience in media, most recently serving as vice president of digital media at DAC Group, responsible for leading a digital media team of more than 30 paid search, SEO, social media and programmatic media professionals for eight North American offices. He earned his bachelor’s degree in communication from Roberts Wesleyan College and resides in West Irondequoit with his family.
In his new position, Lui is responsible for directing all people functions of the organization, including recruiting and talent development, and will oversee a broad range of initiatives focused on wellness, employee relations, performance management and awards. He will work closely with agency leadership to position Dixon Schwabl as the employer of choice within the advertising industry through strategic HR planning and execution.
Lui has 15 years of human resources and development experience, most recently serving as director of human resources for Hoselton Auto Mall. In addition, he is a certified Society for Human Resource Management professional (SHRM-SCP) and senior professional in human resource from the Human Resource Certification Institute (SPHR).
Outside of the office, Lui is active in his community, volunteering with Bivona Child Advocacy Center and serving as co-director of career services for the Rochester Affiliate of the National HR Association. He earned his master’s degree in human resource development and organizational learning from St. John Fisher College. Lui resides in the city of Rochester.
In her new position, Hristodoulou is responsible for supporting the account management team by coordinating the planning and execution of marketing communications programs. Previously, she interned at Butler/Till and served as marketing volunteer for Friendly Senior Living. Most recently, Hristodoulou worked as an account service intern at Dixon Schwabl, where she assisted the account service team on various projects.
Hristodoulou received her bachelor’s degree in Media Management from St. John Fisher College. She resides in Webster.
