Dixon Schwabl Announces Promotions in PR and Media Departments

Full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency Dixon Schwabl is pleased to announce the promotion of Suzanne Komenski to media buyer and Adam Sisson to manager, content creation and SEO.

In her new position, Komenski is responsible for developing media buys for assigned and potential accounts, negotiating added-value programs and sponsorships and assisting in research projects and planning. In addition, she will conduct, compile and organize buy research and specs for clients.

Komenski joined the Dixon Schwabl team in 2013 as a billing specialist and most recently served as media coordinator. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism from St. John Fisher College and is currently working toward her master’s degree in strategic marketing from Roberts Wesleyan College. Komenski resides in Penfield.

In his new position, Sisson is responsible for providing search engine optimization recommendations for all content marketing pieces as well as creating, publishing and promoting social media content. In addition, he will manage content marketing projects by writing, editing, assigning and optimizing long-form content pieces.

Sisson holds nearly five years of experience in the marketing industry, previously honing his skills at Archer Communications as copywriter and SEO specialist and most recently as social media account executive at Dixon Schwabl.

Sisson earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Ithaca College. He resides in the city of Rochester.
