Dixon Schwabl Announces Promotions in Interactive, Account and Digital Departments

Full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency Dixon Schwabl is pleased to announce the promotion of Jen Huspen to senior digital project manager, Maureen Swick Kurz to vice president of account services, Chelsea Miner to digital media planner/buyer and Jonathan Bouman to digital media strategist.
In her new position, Huspen is responsible for scheduling all work for the interactive department and managing deadlines. In addition, she oversees internal and client website jobs from start to finish, ensuring each step of the website process is completed efficiently and on time. Most recently, Huspen served as digital project manager.
Huspen earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and journalism from Southeastern University. She resides in Webster with her husband, Matt, and their son.
As vice president of account services, Kurz is responsible for identifying and fostering strategic growth within a major account, as well as managing day to day activities to ensure business objectives are fulfilled. In addition, she will create and review strategic recommendations, facilitate project creation and implementation, and mentor team members.
Kurz has been with Dixon Schwabl for nearly 19 years, joining the team in 1999 as account supervisor, and has 26 years of experience in the advertising industry. She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University. Kurz resides in Fairport with her two children.
In her new position, Miner is responsible for overseeing trafficking and billing for the department, as well as continually analyzing and optimizing campaigns based on performance. In addition, she will spearhead proposal negotiations and collaborate on digital media vendor selection and budget allocations based on campaign goals and overarching strategy.
Miner came to Dixon Schwabl in 2015 as digital media coordinator from Maxus NYC, where she served as integrated media planner for two years. Outside of the office, she is actively involved in her community, serving as a volunteer for the American Heart Association. Miner earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising from Syracuse University. She resides in the city of Rochester.
As digital media strategist, Bouman is responsible for providing digital advertising campaign strategy for Frontier Communications’ FiOS markets across six states. He has 16 years of traditional and digital marketing experience and agency account management. He most recently served as digital media manager.
Bouman earned his bachelor’s degree in English literature from University of Rochester. He resides in Pittsford.
