PR News has honored the Dixon Schwabl public relations team as one of the Top Places to Work in PR. The award honors organizations, agencies and workplaces around the world that continue to evolve in the ever-changing communications industry, while taking into account company benefits, advancement opportunities, company culture, unique perks and employee testimonials. Entries were judged on numerous categories and criteria, including organizational culture, company benefits, employee experience, and training and growth opportunities, among others. Winners were then selected by a panel of PR executives and experts, as well as editors and staff from PR News. The award will be given to honorees at an industry awards luncheon Nov. 29 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.
Dixon Schwabl is the only Rochester-based agency on the 2017 list, sharing the honor with 54 other national agencies, including Ruder Finn, Porter Novelli, Southwest Airlines, Ketchum and General Motors.
“We are humbled that PR News has named Dixon Schwabl a Top Place to Work in PR once again,” said Lauren Dixon, CEO of Dixon Schwabl. “This award represents our team members’ commitment and leadership within the communications and PR industry. We are so blessed. In the 30 years we have been in business, we have learned that when our team feels empowered, trusted and valued, they are happier and more productive. This results in better work and a stronger company culture. Our community partners, clients and the agency as whole all benefit in the end.”
Dixon Schwabl has grown significantly in the past five years, expanding its offerings and services while maintaining its culture by recruiting team members who embrace the “make it happen” attitude. The Dixon Schwabl full-service PR team specializes in consumer PR, public affairs, business-to-business, special events, social and digital media, content marketing, brand journalism, not-for-profit and more.
