Full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency Dixon Schwabl is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrew Knoblauch to director of content marketing and social media, Mike McGinnis to content marketing specialist, Roger Haskins to digital strategy supervisor and Mat Parrinello to data architect.
In his new role, Knoblauch will oversee the agency’s content marketing and social media offerings and be responsible for new business growth. He will lead content and social media strategy for numerous accounts, including ESL Federal Credit Union, RBC Heritage, Finger Lakes Visitors Connection, PGA of America and PGA REACH. In addition, he is the executive producer and co-host of the agency’s podcast, One More Thing.
Knoblauch has more than 12 years of experience in content marking and social media and has been with Dixon Schwabl since 2013. In 2016, he was recognized by PR News as a Rising Star Under 30.
Knoblauch earned his Bachelor of Science in management and marketing from St. John Fisher College. Outside of the office, he is active in his community, serving as a board member and marketing committee chair for Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail, volunteering with Harvest Lacrosse and co-leading Dixon Schwabl’s Extra Life initiative. Knoblauch resides in Canandaigua with his wife, Melissa.
As content marketing specialist, McGinnis will be responsible for creating, managing and optimizing content calendars, podcasts and social media platforms for clients from concept to implementation and reporting. In addition, he helps oversee the agency’s podcast and serves as co-host. McGinnis has been with Dixon Schwabl since 2015 and most recently served as content marketing coordinator.
McGinnis earned his Bachelor of Science in marketing from Roberts Wesleyan College. He actively gives back to the university by mentoring students and visiting as a guest speaker for the Enactus business team. McGinnis resides in Rochester.
In his new role, Haskins will create and execute strategy for the development of websites, email campaigns, banner ads and associated digital marketing campaigns to achieve client goals and objectives in alignment with the project budget and all marketing-related recommendations and activities. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the marketing field and has been with the agency since 2016.
Haskins earned his bachelor’s degree in studio art from Roberts Wesleyan College and his Master of Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology. He resides in Fairport with his wife, Jen, and their three children.
As data architect, Parrinello will maintain complex database systems for business intelligence and marketing analytics applications for various clients. He will be responsible for data security and manage user access to data systems by working with vendors and internal teams. Parrinello has more than six years of experience in marketing analytics and most recently served as digital media analyst at the agency.
Parrinello resides in Farmington.
