Why did you choose a career in public relations?
I was originally a political science major and wasn’t aware of the public relations field until a marketing communications class that was required of me. The professor pushed me to join the school paper and start writing more, and the rest is history.

What is your favorite movie?
The Breakfast Club

What are some activities you enjoy participating in outside of work?
Blogging, baking, running, soccer and enjoying Rochester with my husband.

When you were young, what was a dream or aspiration you had for when you grew up?
To be a marine biologist like most little girls.

Would you like to be famous? In what way?
I’d prefer not be followed on my trips to Starbucks and have my weight commented on with every pound lost or gained, but I would love to be able to dedicate myself and my money to causes I care about.
