Rochester Museum & Science Center Social Media

The RMSC is known for innovative exhibits that are as exciting as they are educational, and that was certainly the case when it presented CSI: The Experience. Our public relations team was quickly put on the case, getting the word out on the street and to area media outlets. Next, our team launched an extensive social media campaign, working with RMSC staff members to ensure engaging Twitter updates and fascinating Facebook posts. The result was an almost 200% increase in RMSC Twitter followers. At the same time, the number of people to "like" the museum on Facebook grew to over 500 and counting. Most important, our social media campaign turned followers into active fans and retweeting ambassadors for the exhibit.
