Mechanical Artist (Second Shift)

Our team-oriented integrated marketing firm is looking for a full-time mechanical artist (second shift) to join our growing organization. The ideal person for this position is a proactive team player with at least 5 years of experience developing accurate electronic artwork for production, within schedule and budgetary guidelines.

The mechanical artist is responsible for developing mechanical artwork, following specifications from the art director, account executive and vendors.

Candidates must be highly motivated self-starters with a positive, energetic attitude.

  • 5 years of experience as a mechanical artist or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Highly organized with the responsibility for maintaining job archives
  • Must help to develop and maintain quality control on archiving and file release protocol
  • Ability to work independently and manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of applications including, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; and Microsoft Word
  • Proven work experience, strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a 4-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience; internship experience preferred

Our integrated marketing firm is looking for a Senior Art Director to join our growing organization. This role is ideal for a proactive team player with at least 7 years of experience in art direction and/or design.

Our integrated marketing firm is looking for a Senior Art Director to join our growing organization. This role is ideal for a proactive team player with at least 7 years of experience in art direction and/or design.

The ideal candidate will not only appreciate a great idea, but will be strategic in creating appropriate ones for our clients and executing them within budget. Dixon Schwabl is a full-service integrated agency, and the Senior Art Director will interact with not only the creative department, but also with all departments within the agency, aiding in interactive initiatives, research, broadcast and public relations and event planning needs. Candidates must be highly motivated self-starters with a positive, energetic attitude.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7 years of experience art directing/designing marketing materials for web, print and/or broadcast media
  • Ability to work independently and manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Must have a strong portfolio and an even stronger attitude
  • Knowledge of applications including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Proven work experience and a strong work ethic
