Girls on the Run

Dixon Schwabl's Account Manager, Megan Steenburgh, joined over 500 local girls at The Girls on the Run of Greater Rochester’s annual Spring 5K on June 7th at the MCC Campus in Henrietta to celebrate self-esteem and confidence through physical activity. The Spring 5K, which happens every year at the culmination of the 10-week Girls on the Run youth development program, drew a crowd of more than 700, including additional runners and volunteers who attended to show support for the program and the 544 girls registered for the event.

DS Roadies Hit The Pavement at J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge

On Thursday, May 29, the Dixon Schwabl team hit the road for the 2014 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, an annual race to benefit the Hillside Family of Agencies Work-Scholarship Connection. More than 10,000 professionals in the Greater Rochester region gathered for the event. As part of the of the race, Dixon Schwabl was recognized as the winner of the 2014 T-shirt contest. Dixon Schwabl's associate creative director, Marshall Statt, designed the T-shirt. Included in this award, J.P. Morgan donated $1,000 to the Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection in Dixon Schwabl's name.

Dixon Schwabl Honored at Pinnacle Awards

On Thursday, May 22, at the American Marketing Association's (AMA) Rochester Pinnacle Awards, Dixon Schwabl walked away with three Pinnacle awards for its strategic marketing work in the Greater Rochester region. The team took home the Pinnacle Award for Non-Profit Social Media Initiative for the PGA Championship, Non-Profit Print Piece/Packaging for the Wilmot Cancer Institute's 2013 Discovery Ball and the Non-Profit Honorable Mention for the Video/Audio Spot for the American Lung Association's PSA for the 2013 Rochester Fight for Air Climb.

100 Miles for NCMEC

Hangin' Around for the Boy Scouts of America

Dixon Schwabl’s senior mechanical artist, Joe Luciano, rapelled more than 21 stories in support of the Boy Scouts of America’s “21 Stories for Scouts” last Friday. Joe was required to fundraise at least $1,000 to participate, and with the help of Dixon Schwabl and its employees, Joe reached his goal and bravely rapelled down the First Federal Building in downtown Rochester.
