What are some activities you enjoy participating in outside of work?
I play ice hockey. I decided to learn to play at age 37, which is no easy task. I spend a lot of time falling on the ice and crashing into the boards, but I have moments when I swear I could play for the Sabres.

If you could pursue another career different than the one you currently have, what would that career be?
Urban planner. I love the idea of planning elements of a community that can help it thrive, grow, and better meet the needs of the people who live and work there. It’s probably way harder than I think, but it sure sounds fun.

What is your life motto?
Life is short—experience as much as you can.

If you could sum up your personality in one word, what would that word be?
Loyal

What are you most proud of?
My family, including my wife and 3 crazy daughters—and the friendships I’ve made. Nothing really matters beyond that when you boil it all down.
