
Habitat for Humanity Women Build Information Kit
Giving families in need a sturdy roof over their heads to help them build a better future for themselves is Habitat’s primary mission. Ours was to partner up—not only to promote, but to participate—and rock the house.
We developed an integrated marketing plan using TV, radio and direct mail (all donated) to sell sponsorships, recruit fundraising teams and generate awareness about Women Build Rochester. Our public relations team planned the first wall raising, with 100+ people coming to watch and take part. Within a week, Habitat surpassed its $79,000 goal. Another power point: A DIY crew of 24 DS females volunteered to construct the home.
