Finger Lakes Riesling Festival

In our part of the world, wine is a big deal. And no varietal is bigger than Riesling. Our relatively cool growing season is perfect for this beloved grape. We developed and organized a mile-long, 2-day family festival featuring wine tastings, beer tastings, arts & crafts vendors, food and family activities. The event benefits the Canandaigua Family YMCA every year, and in 2 years, the festival has raised over $61,000. In 2011, the festival attracted nearly 25,000 people from all over the world who visited the Finger Lakes region to enjoy "a mile of family fun."
