’Tis the season for joy—and there are plenty of marketers prepared to tell you when, how and why you should be joyful! Indeed, one of the many ways we are reminded the holiday season is in full swing is coffee served in decorative cups telling us to “unwrap the joy” or simply stating “joy” in festive red and green colors.
It seems that random acts of kindness are on the rise. I recently read an article about a woman who baked and gave away a pie every day for a year, a friend celebrated her birthday by performing one kind act in honor of each year of her life, there is even a Random Acts of Kindness Foundation!
